The paper is devoted to the study of modern educational technologies used train specialists in transportation industry. prerequisites for updating and supplementing existing are considered. Critical skills various modes transport identified. challenges global socio-economic architecture that dictate updated requirements environment defined. A review world practice training personnel industry was carried out, a comparative analysis number countries conducted. As result, we have obtained set best practices field transport. shows some equally successfully applied both Russia abroad. There also specified trends influence processes occurring on further transformation industry’s human resources. direction future research has been determined.
